Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Awa – Digital Literacy Graduation

In December, we came together with our learner group from Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Awa to celebrate their successful completion of the Workplace Digital Literacy Micro-Credential Level 2 and another workplace learning programme.

We’ve been working with Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Awa for nearly a year. The programme focused on transforming communication strategies; enhancing problem-solving approaches in the workplace; building increased capacity for caring for each other; and fostering self-awareness in personal leadership.

We deeply appreciate the warm welcome and the ako moments, where we learned collaboratively by sharing life experiences and worldviews.

When asked about the most significant change since the training, participants expressed a heightened sense of mutual support. They noted, “There’s this added awareness that we’ve got each other’s back, and I’ve observed a greater willingness among team members to proactively address tasks and engage in constructive discussions on how to navigate challenges in our work.”

The celebration and delicious kai were held at the Ngāti Awa farm with the teams Korehāhā Whakahau and Taihuringa.
